It means machine is heating up and last about 30 secs.

Is there some tips for making milk foam?
Use cold whole milk or a fat content greater than 3.5%.
When steaming, not cover the head of steam wand more than a half.
Place the head in left or right side of milk pitcher inside, not in center, and keep at 30-60° to milk surface.
