1. Question: Portafilter hard to install
Answer: Place the machine on a sturdy and non-smooth countertop, hold machine with one hand and install with other. As during the break-in period, first few times will a little difficult.
2. Question: Filter cannot be installed or removed
Answer: Turn filter to align protrusion with notch in portafilter, then install or remove.
3. Question: Why is there some water in the machine I just received?
Answer: Don't worry, it's just clear water from steam and release water tests during the quality control period. We recommend refer to "Before First Use" section on user's manual page 5.
4. Question: Both filters have only one hole in the bottom
Answer: As they are dual wall filters, different from single wall filter. Using them will get richer espresso crema than single wall filter.
5. Question: After lifting water tank, some water come out of the input
Answer: A slight spill is normal. As the machine is under pressure, lifting the tank will relieve pressure, so water come out.
6. Question: Single and Double Cup button lights flash slowly
Answer: Means machine is preheating, take 30 secs. If timeout occur, please check the water tank is filled and in place.
7. Question: No or less coffee come out
Answer:Reduce the coffee powder amount or tamping strength and try a coarser powder.
8. Question: After making espresso, there is some water within portafilter
Answer: Please refer to the 5th tip on the contents page, which will help you out nicely.
9. Question: No pumping, no hot water, no steam
Answer: Please refer to the 3rd and 4th tips on the contents page. If still not working, please contact us at css@chulux.com
10. Question: Milk doesn't foam well
Answer: Before steam milk, release the cooling water from steam wand and use cold whole milk for steaming. Getting the milk to foam richly with microfoam also will take some skill, so a bit of practice is important.
Nespresso Pod Machine(QF-CM831V)
1. Question: Why does the coffee come out cold?
Answer: This is entering the DRAINAGE MODE by mistake. Unplug or disconnect the power for at least 5 seconds to exit this mode. Then follow the steps in START-UP MODE and PRE-HEATING MODE to start the machine.
2. Question: Why is the coffee maker loud?
Answer: We recommend using the original Nes pod. If it is not captured, slightly close the lever and then put in the pod. If it does not go down, lightly press the pod tail end into the correct position.
3. Question: Why is the nespresso pod not captured or not going down?
Answer: We recommend using the original Nes pod. If it is not captured, slightly close the lever and then put in the pod. If it does not go down, lightly press the pod tail end into the correct position.
4. Question: Why does my coffee not seem hot enough?
Answer: The following steps will give you a better temperature. Use your cup to catch the hot water from the Espresso button (small cup) without putting in a pod. Then, the next time, make your coffee in the same cup.
5. Question: Why does no coffee come out even though the machine starts up well after months of sitting?
Answer: This requires additional tools to fix. Provide a video and contact the CHULUX customer support team at css@chulux.com for help.
6. Question: Why is there water underneath the bottom of the appliance?
Answer: The water tank may be leaking. Check to see if the tank's valve is clogged. After lifting the water tank, a slight spill is normal.
7. Question: Why is the bottom drip tray filled with water?
Answer: The bottom drip tray catches drips of water that fall after you have finished making your coffee. The drip tray needs to be emptied from time to time.
8. Question: Why does the lever not close?
Answer: The capsule is not correctly in place. Check and place the capsule correctly.
