It All Started with One Cup of Black Coffee
The founder of CHULUX wasn’t a barista or coffee expert—he was a frequent traveler shuttling between China and the United States for work.
On one particular business trip to the U.S., he was battling severe jet lag. To stay alert, he turned to the most convenient and affordable option: black coffee. While it did the job, he quickly found the taste too plain, repetitive, and far from enjoyable. Trying to brew coffee by hand or use a traditional machine was simply too time-consuming and complex for his busy schedule.
That moment sparked a simple but powerful idea:
Why shouldn’t busy people like him be able to enjoy a fresh, flavorful, and safe cup of coffee—quickly and effortlessly?
With that thought, the journey began.
Over the next three years, he consulted coffee professionals, tested prototypes, refined functions, and obsessively focused on user-friendly design. From brewing temperature and capsule compatibility to safety materials and one-touch operation, every detail was thoughtfully engineered.
In 2012, CHULUX was officially born, launching its very first product:
the Single Serve Coffee Maker—designed to deliver convenience without compromising quality. It was compatible with various coffee capsules and grounds, and offered a quick, one-button brew for flavorful coffee anytime, anywhere.
From that one cup of black coffee on a tiring business trip to becoming part of countless daily coffee rituals, CHULUX has stayed true to its mission:
